The House....

This post is mostly for my parents who have been struggling wondering where we are living. To those of you not interested, please check back again. Please bear with me and the descriptions. And remember I am still not undone packing. Pretty done, but it still feels like a lot left to do. We got blinds put in today. The Living Room and Master Bath blinds are too short, so he has to re-order, and the guest bedroom blinds have not even arrived yet. So...

Master Bath - door to immediate left is toilet room, then door by sinks is to walk in closet.

From Kaile's room - door on left is a closet with shelves we put the toys in. Door to right is under stairs closet and in that is the door to under house storage.
Kaile's bath - she is totally in to green right now, so I pushed for green and purple.

Garrett's Birthday

So I video taped most of Garrett's celebration thinking I could just splice it down and put it on here for you....but no matter how much I slice, it still seems to end up more MB than this program will download. Sorry. Guess you are stuck with pictures. Garrett is loving his bike. He calls his bike his "training wheels". The bike is a little big for him, but he'll get the hang of it pretty soon I'm sure. Kaile has been really good about taking him for rides on the sidewalk around the neighborhood in the afternoons. Hopefully when Jan gets back we can take more walks and let the kids ride.

Sea World - Kaile's Dolphin Adventure

For about 3 years Nana Peterson has been telling Kaile that when she turns 8 she could be apart of the dolphin adventure program at Sea World. This was her year, and she loved every minute of it. They were able to learn about some dolphin anatomy, (Kaile's favorite was to see the dolphins ear), use hand signals to tell the dolphin to do tricks (they got to hear their dolphin sing twinkle twinkle little star under water), and watch them play.

This is Kaile getting her picture taken with a dolphin. The pictures turned out really cute, I just have yet to scan them in...

They were splashed plenty, and then each of them took their dolphin for a walk.

Kaile kept jumping up and down while inside the pool. She just couldn't keep still. Later that day I asked her if the water was really cold, and she said, "No! I was just so excited I couldn't stop moving!" She had an amazing time.

After the dolphins we played at Sea World. The girls had a good time together while Daddy and Garrett went on Atlantis...

And the boys got soaked.... That's what happens when they put all the weight in the front!

If you haven't noticed before...Garrett and Claire are my huggers. They love each other and are very close.

The kids were getting ready for the Shamu show. We were sitting in the "splash zone", so they decided to strip down to bathing suits. Mommy was very happy that we ended up NOT getting wet.

All in all it was a great experience, one that Kaile will never forget!!

Summer Fun in the "smurf pool"

So, I've been a bit behind in updating my blog, so here's a few summer fun pictures. I'll try to get Kaile's dolphin interaction pictures up soon!

AJ - remember the smurf puddle? I think when you were here - it was the last time we had it up! I finally feel secure enough about my kids swimming that I asked Sarah to put it up. It will be the last time we see water for a couple of years!

Remember the water launcher from the family reunion? Still being put to good use!
