Kade, the weeks after

Day 2 at the hospital.  I am more awake, and everyone is happy.  My mom brought the kids over several times today to see us.  I am so happy that Ty has taken to Kade so well.  I was really worried since he is SUCH  a mama's boy.

Home at last!  They let me out of that place.  Jan and my mom thought I should stay another day, but I couldn't force myself back in to that horrible bed, and my feet were sooooo swollen from sitting in a chair all day.  I was so happy to be home!

Smiling (it is not gas) and laughing in his sleep.  This is one happy boy!

Kaile has been driving me nuts.  She is so bored.  So, I had her make a hat for Kade.  I didn't tell her that he would never wear it because it is 106 * outside and only gets down to 90 at night.  Nevertheless, she did a great job.  So here are his only pics with a hat on. :)

Nana with all of her grandkids (until Wade and Rachel have one next year!!!)
Kaile is always walking around and bouncing, burping, and playing with Kade, so I hadn't taken any pictures of her.  So here, we did a mini photo shoot of Kaile and her baby brother.

I love my kids!  And Kade has made a wonderful addition to our family!!!!

Kade Lewis Peterson (birth day!)

Surgery day!!!

 And it's a.....
 BOY!

A Healthy 9 lb. 2 oz.  boy.  I love it.
 He smells soooo good!!!!

Can you say drugged?  My pain got intense after surgery.  Not my best recovery.

My poor mother and kids had to wait in the waiting room for 4 1/2 hours.  I guess Kaile was pacing she was so worried.  They had to get my pain under control and Kade's blood sugars balanced out.

 Waiting, waiting, waiting....
And finally the big meet!  Instant love...
 Our family is complete.

Thank you Nana for being there to take care of us!
